Graphic Designer Megan Magis always knew she was an "artist". From enjoying computer arts, pastry decorating, painting and photography, she was told at a young age her creative ability will get her far. She started off her career as a graphic artist in 2000. Originally designing layouts for her High School's year book, she decided to pursue a college education in graphic arts. She enrolled in the Art Instute of Philadelphia later continuing her education and graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Her first job was for a small marketing firm in Saco Maine designing promotional ads and creating identities for small local businesses. She then relocated back to the Philadelphia area landing a graphic/web design opportunity in Cherry Hill, NJ designing user-interfaces for the web. A year later she landed a once in a lifetime opportunity to work for Forbes Magazine in NY. Being overseen by Forbes marketing department's, Art Director and Creative Director, Megan designed mock up ads, special Forbes event invitations, and worked closely with the sales team to come up with marking items for clients who were interested in advertising in Forbes. Megan is now settled in PA and continues on her path of becoming a successful designer.
